Demand for red perimeter lights and blue spot lights across all types of industries has been growing over the last few years, particularly in higher risk applications. Until now, it hasn’t always been commercially viable for businesses handling flammable material to equip their existing ATEX forklift fleet with these additional safety features.

The addition of these red and blue safety lights helps increase safety where visibility is poor, such as warehouse aisles or crossings where IBCs and drums containing flammable material are handled. They can be fitted to existing ATEX equipment (from any EX manufacturer) working in Zone 1, 2, 21 or 22 hazardous areas.
We work with many international brands where safety is paramount and company policies insist on these safety lights across their MHE fleets. However, until now, it has usually not been viable to equip their ATEX trucks with blue or red safety lights. The free survey with every Ex-ASA helps to raise awareness that there are now low cost red and blue ATEX lights readily available.
Red Ex Line and Blue Ex Spot can be used where spillage or accidental release of flammable material may create an explosive atmosphere and are suitable for production applications or facilities storing flammable material such as chemicals, solvents, waste, paints, whisky, foodstuffs and more.
