Engineer Training
Any equipment fitted with Pyroban systems will require regular maintenance to ensure that they are working correctly, but more importantly, to ensure that equipment is fully protected at all times. We offer a range of engineer training courses according to the application.
COVID-19 NOTE: During COVID restrictions, we allow a maximum of 4 people per course with measures in place to adhere to social distancing/government guidelines. Online refresher courses also available Jan 2022!
MHE Applications – Engineer Training
We offer a range of face to face and online training courses designed to help works and maintenance engineers, field service engineers and service managers maintain Pyroban equipment in the field.
INITIAL PYROBAN TRAINING FOR SERVICE ENGINEERS
We hold initial training courses all year round for groups of 6 delegates (4 during COVID-19) in the UK in Cannock, West Midlands and Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex. Content includes: basic introduction into explosion protection, methods of protection, maintenance & inspection, Zone 1, 2, 21 & 22, diesel and electric equipment. After satisfactory assessment, comprehensive Technical Manuals and certificates are issued.
REFRESHER PYROBAN TRAINING FOR SERVICE ENGINEERS
Engineers can then refresh their training in person or online. Beginning in 2022, service engineers can refresh their training online through our new interactive eLearning course. It is divided into 5 sections, including a general hazardous area safety and ATEX course which must be completed by all refresher trainees. Candidates can then choose which topics to explore further, depending on what type of equipment they have in their fleet. The choices include electric equipment for Zone 1, or diesel equivalent, and then gas detection for either diesel or electric equipment in Zone 2. Dust is also covered in the relevant modules. Course users receive an individual login with each section, which includes theory based learning followed by questions, and takes around one hour to complete.
The eLearning system is easy to use, highly engaging, visual, and aimed at those engineers who are experienced in working with Pyroban systems.
