As lockdown 2.0 starts in the UK, Pyroban continues operations and ships this customised C4.4NA HazPak 100 (ATEX powerpack) for a slickline application offshore.

This ATEX 3G IIA T3 engine offers 52bkW (Net) at 2100RPM to efficiently and reliably support the slickline operation, ensuring Zone 2 hazardous area safety when delivering and retrieving tools downhole.

ATEX Powerpack for Zone 2

The ATEX powerpack features the full Pyroban explosion protection kit including an air inlet shut-off valve, air inlet flame arrestor, exhaust gas heat exchanger, thermal control and treatment and exhaust flame arrestor. This C4.4NA HazPak 100 is customised according to the customer requirements with modifications such as a reduced height spark arrestor and custom colour.

Certified to 45°C ambient, the Pyroban C4.4NA Hazpak 100 also features a hydraulic safety shutdown system with local control panel, a heavy-duty radiator with solder dipped core and stainless steel cooling pipe work and control hoses.

Following EN1834-1:2000, Pyroban has conducted all necessary engineering, testing and final ATEX certification, including all flame non-transmission testing and thermal testing in the Pyroban Dyno facility.
