We have just shipped a further three Pyroban® HazPak™ 100 explosion proof powerpacks from our busy manufacturing plant in Shoreham by Sea, UK, for use in offshore oil and gas applications in Asia. The units will provide power for wireline operations.

Featuring the JCB 444 NA engine, the HazPaks are pre-engineered and ATEX/IECEx certified diesel engines suitable for Zone 2 hazardous areas and designed for harsh offshore environments.

Explosion proof powerpacks with ATEX / IECEx certification

ATEX engines in the Pyroban HazPak™ 100 range fully comply with EN1834-1:2000 and  ATEX 2014/34/EU and are shipped fully built from the Pyroban factory, ready for integration into well service equipment. They are Equipment Group II, Category 3G for Gas Group IIA and with Temperature Class T3 (<200degC).

Explosion proof JCB 444 ATEX diesel engines for hazardous area wireline operations

These JCB 444 explosion proof diesel engines feature an air inlet shut-off valve, air inlet flame arrestor, exhaust gas heat exchanger, thermal control and treatment, exhaust flame arrestor and ATEX certified spark arrestor.

The ATEX engines are supported by the Pyroban technical team with additional assistance in the field as required by Pyroban’s specialist team of engineers with all necessary paperwork and experience for offshore deployment.
