During IMHX at the NEC from 24 – 27 September, Pyroban experts will be discussing a range of explosion protection solutions that help manage the risk of ignition found in materials handling equipment.

Pyroban at IMHX 2019

Visitors will see Pyroban equipment including system6000™ for Zone 2 areas, and Gascheka™ used in safe areas.

Pyroban experts will also be advising about training, service support and annual auditing of explosion proof lift trucks (Ex ASA).

Plus, there will be a prize draw at the Pyroban exhibition stand and the winner will be announced on the last day of the show.

50 years of Pyroban

At IMHX 2019, Pyroban will continue its celebrations marking 50 years since the start of “Project Pyroban”.

The Pyroban project began in 1969 in the UK to provide explosion protection for industry above ground, giving birth to Zone 2 areas in conjunction with the (then) UK government HSE.

At IMHX, Pyroban will display one of the original shut down valves from ‘Project Pyroban’. The valve features the same principles as are used today in Pyroban’s diesel engine explosion protection.

Pyroban explosion protection

Today, Pyroban (the company) helps keep people safe in a variety of manufacturing and logistics applications where potentially explosive atmospheres may exist, including those in the food and drink, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, coatings and waste management industries, as well as the oil and gas industry.

Manufacturers and users of lift trucks, warehouse equipment, scrubber driers and other industrial vehicles operating in ATEX Zones are invited to join the celebration at IMHX. Register for IMHX now.
