We are pleased to announce that two key members of the Pyroban team have moved into new roles, with a goal to streamline management processes and improve the experience for our customers. This accompanies changes to the production facilities at Pyroban’s UK headquarters which will maximise capacity for conversions.

Darren Boiling – Materials Handling Sales Manager

Darren Boiling, who was recently promoted to European Technical Sales Manager, has now been appointed as Materials Handling Sales Manager.

In his new role, Darren, who has worked at Pyroban since 1987, will lead a team of salespeople working together to cover all regions – Pyroban provides explosion protection solutions for materials handling equipment, plant, and other vehicles globally. Of his new position, Darren says:

“My new role helps support our company objective to concentrate our skills into one location. In the sales team, this will bring efficiencies, fast response times, competitive pricing, and a customer-focused approach. As always, out aim is to provide the right kind of passive or active explosion protection solution for our customers’ applications.”

Tori Knight – Internal Sales and Customer Support Manager

Another notable move is Tori Knight, previously Customer Services Manager for just over 3 years, into a newly created role of Internal Sales and Customer Support Manager.

Just like Darren, Tori will be streamlining the customer experience, bringing customer services and aftersales support into one team. This will enable Tori and her team to bring the benefit of their skills and knowledge to more customers, and share information collectively to help improve the experience for the end user.

In her new position, customers can expect to speak to Tori and her team when they need progress updates on conversions, service support, parts orders, technical support, training, or quotes for products including Gascheka Zone 3 and Blue EX Spot.

Streamlined production processes underway

In addition to the new team structure, Pyroban’s production facilities at Shoreham by Sea, UK, are also in the process of being streamlined for maximum capacity and efficiency. This, coupled with close relationships with OEMs, is anticipated to help offer customers even more competitive pricing on solutions with active gas detection as well as passive explosion protection conversions for materials handling equipment.
