For many years, Pyroban has worked closely with OEMs to convert lift trucks for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres. As a result, it is the preferred supplier for many of the world’s leading lift truck manufacturers.
For example, the company has an official agreement with Hyster Europe to provide Pyroban® explosion protection solutions for Hyster® trucks throughout the EMEA region.
This effective partnership agreement has been in place for three years and is just entering a fourth. However, Pyroban was been converting Hyster® equipment for far longer. In fact, one of the first diesel truck conversions by Pyroban was on a Hyster® lift truck which was fitted with explosion protection solutions in the 1970s for a customer in the Netherlands.
Pyroban’s explosion protection solutions, such as system6000 active gas detection for Zone 2, can be applied to almost any make and model of materials handling equipment that is required to work in potentially explosive atmospheres. This includes diesel or electric trucks in a wide range of industry applications, from distilleries and paint manufacturers, through to operations working with chemicals and pharmaceutical products.
