Recruitment

Pyroban has a history of almost 50 years in West Sussex, so is keen to build on this heritage by providing more jobs in the area. Working at Pyroban gives local people the chance of a career with an industry-leading global business right on their doorstep. The Company is committed to developing its team in Shoreham to support the local economy.

Since January 2018, 75 new jobs have been created with some team members recruited as a result of a widely promoted Careers Open Morning back in 2018.

Investment in Shoreham Centre of Excellence

In October 2018, Pyroban announced a further £500,000 investment in its facility in Shoreham, creating dozens of new jobs, as well as apprenticeship opportunities.

This included the introduction of a new electric vehicle conversion production line while increasing the Company’s market share in the UK and in export markets, all of which created exciting career opportunities.

Nurturing future talent in the local area

For many years, Pyroban has supported STEM Sussex by attending events in local schools to promote the benefits of careers in engineering to young people.

Pyroban is also proud to offer work experience and internship programmes to future talent.
