Pyroban® will be exhibiting at Europack-Euromanut from Tuesday 19th – Thursday 21st November at the Eurexpo in Lyon, France.

At the show in France, Pyroban will be encouraging visitors to get hands-on with Pyroban’s active gas detection systems, system6000™ and Gascheka™. The systems are fitted to mobile equipment giving audible and visible warnings to drivers of potential gas or vapour danger at 10% LEL (propane in air).

With these active systems, the equipment will automatically be brought to a controlled stop preventing any explosions and protecting the driver at 25% LEL (propane in air).

Without active gas detection (and shutdown) on lift trucks and materials handling equipment, operators are ‘blind’ to the presence of potentially explosive gases or vapour.

Are you active?

The Pyroban team will be asking ‘are you active?’ for those with operations in Zone 2 (or adjacent “safe areas”), to consider their approach to keeping people safe.

Live demos of both will take place on stand F30.G29 in Hall 6.

Active gas detection – keeping you safe in Zone 2 areas

Pyroban’s system6000 combines active gas detection for Zone 2, along with other specialist explosion protection technologies to help keep people safe in Zone 2 hazardous areas. These are common in chemical, pharmaceutical, coatings, beverage, waste or logistics operations, or any other industry with hazardous areas.

It can be applied to most makes and types of diesel or electric equipment, such as reach, pallet, stacker and counterbalance trucks, VNA and picking equipment, making them ATEX compliant.

Added safety solutions by Pyroban

On the stand, visitors will also get a chance to activate Pyroban’s gas detection system, Gascheka, which can be used with any diesel, electric and LPG equipment including forklifts, cranes, shutters or shrink wrap machines.

The system can be fitted on site in less than one day.
