Cognesense is building a global platform of companies focused on technologies that measure, monitor, and protect the environment and critical industrial infrastructure.
With a major brand launch underway and continued international growth, we are seeking a Director of Growth Marketing to define and deliver how we go to market at scale.
This is a UK-based role, with flexibility to be located at one of our UK Cognesense sites.
About the Role
This is not a traditional marketing leadership role. We are looking for a modern, commercially focused marketing leader who can combine strategy with hands-on execution. You will lead the development and delivery of global marketing programmes that strengthen the Cognesense brand, generate pipeline, and support growth across a multi-brand portfolio.
Working closely with senior leadership and the Creative Director, you will bring a new global brand to life across multiple channels, markets, and acquired businesses.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver integrated marketing campaigns that generate measurable commercial growth
- Execute a consistent, high-quality global brand across digital and offline channels
- Use modern tools, including AI, to improve speed, targeting, and effectiveness
- Translate complex technical products into clear, compelling customer messaging
- Support sales teams with high-impact materials and content
- Manage digital channels, including website and LinkedIn
- Track, analyse, and optimise marketing performance
- Build and manage a network of specialist external partners
- Support marketing integration across newly acquired companies
About You
You are a hands-on marketing leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth environment.
You will bring:
- Experience within industrial, engineering, or technology-led businesses
- A strong track record of delivering marketing that drives commercial results
- Confidence with digital platforms, CRM systems, and performance analytics
- Experience using modern marketing tools, including AI
- The ability to communicate complex technical solutions clearly
- A proactive, high-ownership approach
