Pyroban has an excellent opportunity for am Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) Manager to join our quality team.
The Role
Pyroban is a worldwide company offering explosion protection solutions for the materials handling industry, oil and gas applications and any business operating with hazardous areas. For 50 years, we have been at the forefront of our industry developing solutions to help us achieve our one clear purpose of keeping people safe in hazardous areas.
We have an opportunity for an experienced QHSE professional to join our Engineering team as QHSE Manager. The successful candidate will lead and develop QHSE activities to achieve market leading performance, lead ISO9001 and ISO14001 activities and accreditations, and support with maintaining and developing Explosion Protection related accreditations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven QHSE leadership experience within a manufacturing environment including low volume bespoke assembly, fabrication, and machining activities to join our team at an exciting period of growth.
About You
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate an understanding of QHSE principles and their application for business success and also have extensive ISO9001, ISO14001 and Quality Management System knowledge and experience. Additionally, experience of managing and developing a diverse team with varied skill sets, setting up and driving improvement programs, leading problem-solving activities, and conducting internal and third-party supplier audits is essential.
You will need to be a passionate and motivational leader, with excellent communication and influencing skills and have strong IT skills.
Formal QHSE qualifications, experience in ATEX, IECEx principles and certification processes along with knowledge of European Directives and routes to compliance would be advantageous but not essential.

The salary range for this role is £45,000 to £50,000 and we offer 25 days holiday with the option to purchase an additional 10 days of holiday, health cash plan, 5% employer pension contribution, life assurance, employee assistance programme plus a range of other benefits and wellbeing initiatives.
