The opening of Pyroban South China Tech Centre and Explosion Protection Technology Seminar was successfully held in the hotel of Four Points by Sheraton Guangzhou on 8th September 2011.
Ian Ratcliff, Managing Director of Pyroban Group, Max Goh, General Manager of Pyroban Suzhou factory, Wang Weixiong, President of Guangzhou Academy of Special Equipment Inspection & Testing, chaired the opening ceremony and delivered the opening address. There were over 100 representatives attending this event, including the equipment manufacturers, end users, industrial experts, journalists across China.

Mr. Wang, president of Guangzhou Academy of Special Equipment Inspection & Testing, has highly appreciated Pyroban’s contribution and efforts in the explosion protection industry in his speech. He added, “People pay more and more attention to the safety, especially the safety in the hazardous area as safety is always the eternal focus in people’s mind. I think every department plays his respective roles in the responsibilities in safety management, including the equipment designer, manufacturer, inspection agency, the end user, the policy maker, the supervisory institution, etc. It has the close relationship with every people life, every family and every company. ”
The experts and scholars from China National Supervision & Inspection Centre for Quality of Construction Machinery Products, China University of Mining and Technology, delivered their educational presentations on the development of explosion protection industry, the application of explosion protection technology and the safety management for the equipment after the ceremony. There was a joint discussion between the customers, cooperation partners and the experts on the important issues in the industry. It provided an excellent opportunity for everyone to exchange and share their knowledge in the development of explosion protection industry in the seminar.
At the end of ceremony, some customers visited Pyroban South China Tech Centre to see the ex-proof trucks on site.
