We offer customised Powerpacks that comply with EN1834-1:2000, M1 and M2 mining standards, in addition to Chinese Mining Authority (CMA) standards. Working with environmental specialist Envirosafe, we can offer after-treatment solutions to ensure the air quality within the lower ventilation rate mines is not compromised.
The mining standards are some of the most arduous in the industry and often require extensive and specialist modification to ensure that flame paths are intact and comply with particular specifications. This means major modifications to cylinder heads and water cooled manifolds.
We can guard any exposed aluminium against impact that could cause a spark, and where crevices are formed on the engine, we can offer shields to stop the build up of dangerous fire damp.
