Under Health & Safety standards such as COSHH, 1994 and HSG 187, operators deploying or using diesel equipment in an indoor environment or confined space are required to limit the level of toxic diesel exhaust emission.
The Pyroban Envirosafe Temp Trap is an easily fitted disposable particulate trap that requires no permanent modification to the vehicle.
Temp Trap provides equipment such as excavators, dumpers, access platforms and scissor lifts with a quick solution to reduce Particulate Matter when temporary access to indoor environments is required.
How it Works
Temp Trap works in the same way as a permanent filter, mechanically trapping diesel PM10 by up to 90% in a disposable filter.
Supplied as a universal bolt on kit and available in three sizes to fit various applications, Temp Trap is simply clamped onto the end of the exhaust via a flexible sleeve.
The filter is easy to replace once full, which is indicated by the outside of the filter becoming visibly black normally after one full week in operation.
