Initial & Periodic Equipment Inspections

Equipment (both fixed and mobile) operating in hazardous areas needs to be regularly  inspected to determine initially the explosion protection integrity is suitable for first use and periodically remains intact for the duration of it life.

Harmonised European Standard EN 60079-17 provides clear guidance for inspecting electrical equipment, whilst non –electrical equipment is normally inspected and maintained in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) instructions.  Ex-Solutions Consulting can provide Professional Engineers, and Competency Verified Inspectors to complete inspections on your behalf.

All equipment is tagged identifying the equipment has been inspected plus comprehensive documentation is provided. All inspections are carried out by COMPEX trained personnel.
